Jon and Kate: Enough is Enough

Jon & Kate :Enough is Enough Current mood:  angry Ok, this is just getting out of hand. You can't turn on any Entertainment show or go to the store without seeing Jon and Kate on the cover of at  least 2 or 3 magazines.... Now it is reported that Jon hasn't lived at home for 6 months and he only shows up for filming days. They have Child Protective Services investigating the family and what kindof damage is this doing to the kids by continuing this show. How much money do Jon and Kate have to make to stop doing this show. Correct me if I am wrong, but I have heard/read that Kate signed on for 2 more years and this season has 40 episodes at $ 75,000 or more. Add on money from her book sales, speaking engagements and whatever else she is selling. Remember this is a woman who grew up very poor and now it just seems to be ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. She is making millions of dollars a year and at this point she is not looking like she will be getting  " The Mom Of The Year Award " I was watching a clip of Kate preparing for an interview with the kids and Mady said she was thirsty and Kate had a bottle of water and opened it up in front of Mady and took a drink and closed it up and put it away. What Mom does that. This isn't made up, I saw it with my own two eyes.   I am hearing More People saying Take the Show off the Air, but the only person who can really make that happen is  Kate....  To me it is only takes common sense to do the right thing in this situation. Why can't Kate tell TLC that they need to take a break.  Why can't they do 4  one hour specials for $ 100,000 per show... That is $ 400,000... Isn't that enough for them to live off of.. Some people might tell me to stop watching the show and to stop writing about Jon and Kate, but now I am just angry enough to keep following this story until someone steps in to save these kids from this trainwreck that their parents started. What is wrong with our society today with all the nastiness and  meanness of people on all of these Reality TV shows...   What is this teaching our children ?  When it comes right down to it, I think it is important for us to keep talking about Jon and Kate until they take their show off the air.   I really  believe this show has turned Kate into a Monster and  when people go to her book signings they are seeing a Fake Kate...  She loves that so many people love her and the kids and the show but she loves the fame and the money more. At first she thought this was a good way to share her family with us and have all these videos of her kids growing up, but now look what her kids are going to see when they get older. They are going to see themselves crying and their mom being mean and accusations of their dad with a 23 year old school teacher and mom with the body guard. Raise your hand if you would want to trade your life with The Gosselin Family. Can you imagine what all their relatives are saying. Kate alienated all of them and now they are all saying to Jon " I TOLD YOU SO " I have bought both of Kate's books and the first 3 seasons of their  show and I am done giving them my money.  I subscribe to People  and US magazine and it seems the last 3 weeks Jon and Kate are on  the cover.  What bothers me the most is that TLC is allowing all of this to be on their station. It is like " hey look at this family falling apart "  " isn't this great TV "  :^(     Don't these people have a heart ?  Don't they have a family and children ? To me, these people are insensitive people with No Conscience and I think this is the reason why I keep talking about this... We the viewers need to let them know that Yes we are upset with what Jon and Kate have been doing, but we are just as Upset with them for thinking it is ok to put this on their station and to do this to these beautiful children.... How dare you TLC.....  How Dare YOU !!!!!

My new feelings of Jon and Kate Gosselin

Jon and Kate: Twisted Fate Current mood:  ashamed I just got done watching Jon and Kate : Twisted Fate on the E channel.... check your local listings.... It opens your eyes to all the allegations and maybe some of it is rumors, but we all know that most of it is true. This show is a Hometown investigation where they interview people in the neighborhood, bars, stores and even the brother of the 23 year old girl Jon has been seeing.  Now some people will say the brother probably just wanted his 15 minutes of fame, but he is living with his sister and does he really want to ruin his sister's teaching career and wreck their relationship. I think the brother is concerned about his sister and wants everyone to know what is going on so it will put a stop to the relationship... JMO ..... When we all first started watching the show, we fell in love with The Gosselin Family along with millions of others. But years later this  Fun Loving Family Show has turned into Misery not only for Jon and Kate and their beautiful children, but for all of us who loved them. Now when we watch the show, we are cringing on what is going to happen next. Will we ever be able to stop watching or is our curiosity going to get the best of us. Everytime we turn around we see Jon and Kate's faces on all the tabloid magazines and on all the Entertainment Talk Shows ~ ET, Access Hollywood, Extra, The Soup, Regis and Kelly, Mike and Juliet , The View, the list goes on.... We could ban together and say lets stop buying the magazines and watching the show, but we know in our heart that we want to know what is going to happen. There are home video clips of Kate as a sweet and happy girl. She grew up in a trailer park ( nothing wrong with that ) but the family was poor and she was a middle child of 5 kids.... it is reported that she lived a sheltered life and didn't have money to take vacations and her first plane trip was after Jon and her got married.  So of course she is loving all the trips and freebies she is getting from having her own reality show. But is it really worth losing your family for. So she gets 4 to 5 years of fame, but your marriage ends up in divorce and most likely your kids will end up in therapy and splitting time and holidays with mom and dad. Is that worth it. I think Not !!! Jon's boss has said Kate put Jon on a $ 5.00 a day budget. Well some people would say " nothing wrong with that " because really, why does he need more than that when he is working. You would have thought that Kate would have been packing him a healthy lunch every day and maybe she was and the $ 5.00 a day would be for a soda or snack.... Who really knows.... But when you have 8 kids, you have to watch where all the money goes, but hey wait a minute.... look at her now with her fancy hairdo ( which i think looks silly ) and her nails done and spray tanning..... how many moms can afford that on a monthly basis with 8 kids or even 2 kids..... Most of our money went to our kids until they grew up and left the house and that is when I got my first massage and nails done. But that's just me.... Besides my Fibromyalgia ( which sucks ) my life right now is pretty good, but believe me after being married 29 years we have had our ups and downs with our marriage and financially, but I would never talk to my husband the way Kate talks to Jon and I  wouldn't put up with my husband laying a hand on me or embarrassing me or putting me down without me saying to him " that is uncalled for and don't talk to me like that " We never told our kids to shut up or called them stupid or dumb. And they never watched their parents argue and fight like Jon and Kate. It is so important that you set a  good example for your kids. Kate is unknowingly teaching her kids to be disrespectful to the people you love. Anyway, I could go on and on and I might add more later, but this E Channel Special will open your eyes to more information that you might not want to hear or see, but to me it just shows me that I wish that they would just take this show off the air. It is just going to damage these kids more.  I am going to make this page a Tribute Page to the Gosselin Kids..... Jon and Kate's pictures will not be on my profile. My support is going for these  wonderful kids and I am going to try and write a blog each week on each child and point out the good things  about them. I am going to pray and think Positive thoughts for these kids. They are going to need it..... Maybe if we have a page like this and Jon and Kate see that we are supporting their children that they will stop being so immature and  grow up and do what is right for their kids.... They should get some heavy duty counseling and stop this Insanity.

Jon and Kate are featured in this weeks People Magazine.

There are wonderful little stories in this article, but the

main one is that Jon and Kate are planning on adopting

a Korean Baby Girl..  :^D   I don't know how far along they

are on the adoption process, but I for one am excited for

them.  Of course I think they are a tad bit crazy.... lol .....

you would think that 8 kids is enough, but I do understand

that they would love to see what it is like to have just one

baby without he/she being a multiple.  I also think it would

be fun to watch the other kids being big brothers and big

sisters to a new baby.

One paragraph in the article that I thought was really good 

was this...

Kate says.... It does bother me about the online criticism.

Sometimes they get real personal and cruel. I'm not mean 

and horrible and ugly.  We work hard all day, every day.  I'm

sorry if it's grouchy and we're yelling and complaining, but

that's life....

You go Girl... I totally agree with you Kate ...  It bothers me too

when I see all this negative crap about Kate on the internet. I

have stopped going to sites where people are judging her so

harshly.  First of all, we aren't there in their house, or in their

neighborhood or in their town. We are only fans of the show

and enjoy watching them.  But I do believe that there have been

people who have been watching the show that have turned against

Kate in the last few years and I think they are way off base.  They 

are reading all the crap on the internet and buying into it.  Then

they sit at home in their comfy chair or couch and watch the

show and judge Jon and Kate on their parenting style and their

relationship.  All I can say is  " HOW DARE YOU "  :^(

Being a mother of two grown sons  and having two brothers who

weren't the best fathers and seeing many families going through

terrible divorces and alcoholism, over bearing fathers, mothers

who would rather work than be mothers ( this has nothing to do

with mom's that have to work )  and I have heard of many mothers

that even walk out on their husbands and kids.  Jon and Kate

love their children and each other and I think they are doing a

great job.

So that is where I have to say to any one who has the nerve to say

that Kate is not a good mother or than Jon is a Wus, that maybe

you should put a video camera on yourself for a few days and let

us watch you and your husband and your kids and let us see how

you do and then let us judge you... None of us is perfect. We are not

I have a feeling that any of you reading this, really are not the ones

judging Jon and Kate, but actually love them and think they are

a great couple.  They need to know ( which they probably do )

that they have a lot more fans than haters.  The haters are most

likely sad and lonely people with very dysfunctional lives and

have nothing better to do than to trash other people.

Anyway, I just loved this article in People Magazine and learned 

more great things about the family.  If you have the magazine, I

would love to hear what you thought about this article...

Jon and Kate's Official or not so Official MySpace Page

I am getting lots of question again on What has happened to Jon and Kate's Official MySPace Page...

I don't know what is going on...  :^(   I have heard rumors thit it really wasn't even their page and that they don't have a MySpace account... That is the problem with MySpace...  Anyone can pretend to be Jon and Kate... I have written to them on their regular website page at

and asked if they really Do have a MySpace page and I have not heard back from them. It is frusturating not knowing for sure... Unless they had a MySpace page that showed a picture of them with a sign saying YES this is Our Page or a Video of the family saying this is Our Page, I tend not to believe it... there are a lot of people out there who have been writing nast blogs about Jon and Kate and it wouldn't surprise me if some of these people would make a fake page on here saying they are them....  :^(

And now this is the second page that has been deleted this year.. It makes you have to question if they have Ever had a MySpace Page.  

They have a website with questions and answers and you would think that someone would ask that question... I have a friend on here who went to one of their appearances and they had a question / answer segment, but no one asked them if they had a MySpace page....

I have a  Fan Page on MySpace (  http://myspace.com/gosselinfamily10  )  because I love their show. I love watching the kids and love watching Jon and Kate handle all their kids and how they keep the spark in their relationship.  They make it work and keep us entertained every time we watch them.

So I don't spend much time thinking about if they really do have an Official MySpace Page, because deep down, I don't think they do.  I could be wrong,

it has happened before.... but I would have to have a lot more proof than what

we have seen...  :^D

Jon and Kate's Official or not so Official MySpace Page

Jon and Kate Plus 8 " All Aboard "

I watched the latest Jon and Kate episode where they went to see Thomas the Tank Train Engine.  I am always in awe to watch Jon and Kate take their 8 kids anywhere.  I am guessing most of these trips are paid for by the Producers of the show, just to get more footage of the family out the house... or maybe by the parks themselves.  Just watching the kids on the trains looking out the windows with big smiles on their face brighten up my day.  Of course there will be people who will criticise Jon and Kate for yelling at the kids throughout the show, but I remember back in the days when my boys were young that I did my share of yelling too.  ( also remember that the camera men are filming for hours to put a 30 to 60 minutes show together and for some reason they like to watch Kate yell. :^D )

Yelling just goes with the terriotry of being a parent and having kids. I love watching Jon and Kate and the kids sit on the big chair like it's their Diary Session of what had happened during the day.  With all the negative feed back lately, I have to say that I love seeing a family on TV that are not acting like they arre perfect and it isn't scripted.  What you see is what you get with the Gosselins and I have loved watching the kids grow up.  I for one am pulling for the family to keep this show going.  As long as they have their Supporters and they are getting the ratings... then they are doing a Great Job.

One more thing...  I would have loved to have had the opportunity to have a show like this on TV back in the 80's when I was raising my sons.  Kudo's to Kate for having all these field trips and numerous craft projects at home.  I loved hearing how they do the Caterpillar project every year for the kids to witness the caterpillars turn into butterflies and then set them free.  The Gosselin children are so lucky to have parents that are teaching them so many fun things to do.

The controversy of Jon and Kate Plus 8

Why is it that Jon and Kate are getting so much bad press after being on a Successful show for the last few years ?  Are people jealous, mean or just have nothing better to do than to find the flaws in them instead of the positives.  It surprises me how controversial this has become in the last few weeks.  I don't look at Jon and Kate as celebrities, but with all the trash talking it reminds me of what real celebrities go through all the time.  The paparazzi are out of control and actually hurt people with trying to get a picture just for a story.  Now with all of the Reality TV we have on and I have to admit I watch a lot of it ... I can see how it is changing the way people behave on TV and We as the viewers judge them.  :^(

Instead of sitting in front of your TV judging these people, why don't you take the time to learn from them. We might not always agree with their behavior, but we might just see a little of ourselves in them.  I myself would rather watch Jon and Kate Plus 8 than to watch Jerry Springer, Divorce Court, Flavor of Love, JackAss or Wife Swap. The list goes on and on.... I don't watch those shows, but I don't feel the need to come on the internet and trash the people who are participating in them.

I just hope that Jon and Kate will not take the time to read all of the negative stuff people write on here. They are fine the way they are and if they feel they have problems with their marriage or anything else, they will work on them.  They don't need people on the internet to point it out to them.  We don't see what they act like 24/7.  This is a TV Show that is taped for hours at a time and then cut and spliced the way the producers want it to be.  Don't spend the whole time watching it and picking it apart.  If you are doing this, then you obviously aren't a very happy person .  On the other hand if you are watching it like I am and smiling and laughing  and enjoying the banter back and forth and the kids playing and interacting with each other, then you are like millions of others who LOVE the show.

I hope we will get to see many more episodes of Jon and Kate Plus 8 and if it gets to be too much for them, maybe they will do a few specials through the years.  I wrote this blog for all of the supporters of the show... So if you aren't one of them, please be on your way and get a life.  :^D
